Our cats, as I mentioned in the post earlier, simply vicious I tell you! In the past weeks they have had, moles, a baby bunny, numerous black birds, a ring neck snake, a bull frog, a gray squirrel and now this makes the 2nd red squirrel! Sophie was laying all proud of it by the porch when we got home. 😒 I am quite nervous once the chickens are grown and free ranging! While some of the cats have been around previous chickens we’ve had, some have not! The cats are fed every morning and evening, while I know it’s a cat’s nature to hunt, I think the hunting has increased because they are teaching their kittens! All I know is that the chickens are off limits!
So after a very frustrating time getting this page going today, I finally got some productive stuff accomplished around our home! The typical, laundry, dinner, cleaning, plus I got the yard mowed! Makes me feel so much better after spending so much time on this today!
I am sitting on the porch swing and Daisey Mae and her calf, Moonpie have just come down off the hill, so going to give them some grain! (Well all the cows came down except for Coal. They are always happy to see the grain bucket ❤)
